Nonnas of Montefalco

This is a painting done by adding Citrasolv to National Geographic pages, waiting twenty minutes and voila, the pages are transformed into beautiful pattern.  I then found these ladies amongst the patterns and painted around them with acrylic paint, added some torn paper and called it a day.  They remind me of the ladies in the old Italian Villages.
