Jensen Farm

Jensen Farm painted for our friends Lee and Phyllis Jensen.  This is a painting of their barns before the one on the right was  torn down.  Those are Iowa clouds.  It was an honor to paint part of their family heritage.

Hats for Sale

The reference photo for this painting was taken along the walk to the source of the Sorgue River in Provence, France. There was a display of hats for sale along the path. .  Our teacher, and dear friend, Janice Beck,  spied this scene and shared it with me.  I decided to make it into a store window, and that has had several reincarnations during the process.  YUPO paper can be very forgiving, because you can wipe off the parts you do not like, but it can be frustrating because the paint does not absorb into the paper and, vulnerably, sits on the surface until it dries.
