Birds done with Inktense pencils

My friend and teacher, Marni Maree, told me about these neat pencils.  You apply the color to your paper and then touch it with a brush.  It turns into watercolor paint.  You can, also, touch a wet brush to the point of the pencil and apply the paint to your painting, much like a pan type watercolor.  The owl was done using some of both methods.  This is a very convenient way of painting away from my studio.  All I have to carry is a box of pencils and a water-filled brush.  Probably could do them in church, LOL.
