my mind wanders about this composition
searching for clues
what does the 'X' represent?

rust stains
patterns
textures
colors

all please the eye
all stimulate the mind

but I cannot reveal the answer.

    Really like the painting, but the pairing with the poem makes it even better. How great it that to have a poem written about your painting.

    Yes, April. I think the poem adds greatly to the mystique of the painting. It is the first time I have done something that inspired another artist to wax poetic.
